Cristiano Ronaldo denies an agreement with Al-Nassr: "It's not true"

BERLIN (GERMANY), 7 Dec. (STATS Perform/dpa/EP) -

Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo has denied accepting an offer to join Saudi club Al Nassr after his World Cup adventure in Qatar.

"No, it's not true," the Portuguese '7' told reporters after the overwhelming victory (6-1) over Switzerland in the round of 16 of the World Cup, a duel in which he was a substitute.

The striker became a free agent after separating by mutual agreement from Manchester United in November after a harsh interview in which he charged against the English entity and, following some information, Ronaldo would have agreed a new contract to play in Saudi Arabia with the al-Nassr. According to which, the ex of the 'Red Devils' could earn more than 100 million euros a year.

Ronaldo also sent words of support for Brazilian legend Pele, who is still in a Sao Paulo hospital. "Get well, Pele. Our king has to get better. That's all we want," he said.
