The footballer Dani Alves has told the judge that this Wednesday he has communicated his prosecution for allegedly sexually assaulting a young woman who does not agree with the facts attributed to her, but that she will not appeal to "expedite" the procedure.

The soccer player's lawyer, Cristóbal Martell, and the complainant's lawyer, Ester García, explained it in statements to journalists after the player's appearance in the Investigating Court 15 of Barcelona, ​​which has investigated the assault he allegedly committed in the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona on December 30.

Beyond these statements, the footballer has invoked his right not to testify, and Martell has said that Alves is upset with the account of the facts contained in the indictment: "He does not agree with him."

The lawyer added, both in a statement and in statements to the press, that Alves "will not appeal in his desire to expedite the process."

When leaving the courts, the victim's lawyer, Ester García, said: "It seems to be, I have not been notified, that he has consigned the compensation established in the resolution", in reference to the 150,000 euros that the court stipulated. judge to advance possible compensation established by the sentence.

In the indictment, the magistrate of the Investigating Court 15 of Barcelona collects the evidence she has against Alves and states that the complainant went to the Sutton nightclub with her cousin and a friend, they entered the VIP area and a waiter insisted on them saying that there was a boy who wanted to meet them.

They finally agreed and went to the table where Alves and a friend of his were: the soccer player told them that he played petanque in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) and "he started flirting with the three of them", while the complainant had not. recognized until other boys in the club told him who the player was.

The girl and Alves were dancing and stayed together when the other young women went to the other side of the table: then, the judge explains that he "on two occasions took her hand and put it on his penis", and she moved away hand both times.
