A young man who was wanted for the theft of a bag from an elderly woman in Palma appears dead

A young man who the National Police was looking for, as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with force, for the theft of a bag from an elderly woman in Palma, has appeared dead a few days later in a house in 'Ciutat', for reasons that are being investigated.

As reported by the Police to the media, last Saturday, June 17, at around 12:40 p.m., in the Polígono de Levante neighborhood of Palma, an elderly woman was robbed violently by a young man who, with a strong yank, snatched her bag.

As a result of the pull, the woman hit her head, suffering various injuries and had to be transferred to a medical center. Meanwhile, the thief fled with the woman's bag, inside which was a mobile phone, a wallet and other effects.

The Investigation Group of the Central Police Station of the National Police took charge of the investigation and managed to identify the alleged perpetrator, carrying out an operation to locate him, since he did not have a known address.

A few days later, on Wednesday night, June 21, the Police received a call on 091, alerting them to the appearance of a corpse in a house in Palma.

A Citizen Security patrol of the National Police went to the house, where the agents verified that it was a young man who had just died.

So far, the causes of the young man's death are unknown, a circumstance that is being investigated, although everything points to a sudden death, not ruling out natural or other causes.

However, the investigators were able to verify that the deceased was the alleged perpetrator of the robbery of the woman.
