A second batch of declassified documents show how Epstein recruited teenagers for his residence

The tycoon and his then-girlfriend asked the minors to invite their friends in exchange for "additional payments"

MADRID, 5 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The second batch of declassified documents related to the case of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, accused of pedophilia and trafficking of minors and who came to rub shoulders with great personalities, show in more than 300 pages the way in which he recruited teenagers to take them to his residence in Florida.

These descriptions are based on the investigation carried out by former Palm Beach Police detective Joseph Recarey, who interviewed 33 women, most of them minors and without any experience in massages, who were also asked to invite friends for "additional payments."

One of the minors involved has assured that at that time she did not assume or have expectations about any sexual activity and that Epstein took her clothes off without her consent the first time she met him, according to the American television network CBS News.

These documents, the first batch of which was declassified on Wednesday, and of which more releases are expected in the coming days, are the first to be published in relation to the aforementioned case, which could include up to 200 names, among which would be both Epstein's accusers , prominent businessmen and political figures, although their mention or appearance does not imply that any crime has been committed.

Although some of this information has been published by different media over time, it is the first time that it appears reflected in official documents, which include statements, emails and other types of documents.

They contain accusations of sexual abuse against Prince Andrew of England - son of Elizabeth II - who has denied these claims. Both Epstein and his ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence, forced victims to do whatever they were asked.

These documents also confirm a close relationship between former US President Bill Clinton and Epstein; Although there is no evidence that Clinton committed any crime or was involved in the crimes, it is mentioned that the former president "likes young girls."

According to other witnesses, Epstein also met former President Donald Trump and Michael Jackson, although they have denied that any type of massage was performed on them. Among the evidence is also an email from Epstein to Maxwell in which he asks him to help reject and prove false accusations against scientist Stephen Hawking about his alleged participation in an orgy with minors.

These reports are part of a 2015 defamation case filed by Virginia Giuffre against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's ex-girlfriend who allegedly collaborated in the abuse of minors.

Epstein was arrested in July 2019 on charges of sexually abusing and trafficking dozens of girls in the early 2000s; The billionaire took his own life by hanging himself in his New York jail cell in August 2019 after a series of "negligences and failures," according to the US Department of Justice.
