A man who entered a police station with a knife and threatened officers over a document problem was arrested

MADRID, 28 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) -

This morning, the Municipal Police of Madrid arrested a man who entered one of its police stations with a knife in his hand, threatening the officers he was with, a spokeswoman for the Local Police informed Europa Press.

The events took place around 10 a.m. this Tuesday at the Villa de Vallecas police station, located on Camino Real de Arganda street. Taking advantage of the fact that a door was broken, a young individual entered shouting that he did not disagree with an action that he had carried out with other agents.

He walked from the reception to the police offices carrying a knife in his hand, with which he threatened to stab an official who was working inside. Then, several police officers surrounded him, targeted him, demanded that he drop the weapon, and finally managed to subdue and arrest him.

The agents later discovered that he was a 30-year-old Venezuelan citizen who had had a problem with some documents at a police station, but from the National Police. No injuries have been reported, the same sources have indicated.
