The judge officiates the UCO of the Civil Guard in the case against Begoña Gómez for alleged influence peddling

The head of the Investigative Court Number 41 of Madrid, Juan Carlos Peinado, has officiated the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard in the case opened against Begoña Gómez, wife of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, following a complaint from Manos Limpas for alleged crimes of influence peddling and corruption in business.

As reported by 'El Mundo' and sources from the investigation confirm to Europa Press, the judge addressed this unit specialized in the fight against corruption last week to take charge of the investigation proceedings.

The Madrid Prosecutor's Office presented a direct appeal before the Provincial Court in which it requested that it revoke the order by which Judge Juan Carlos Peinado accepted the complaint of Manos Liminas against Begoña Gómez.

As prosecutor sources informed Europa Press, the Public Ministry requested the file last Wednesday, April 24, after it was announced that the proceedings that remain secret had been opened.

In addition, the head of Court 41 of Madrid has summoned as witnesses this Friday two media officials who published the news on which the accusation is based, at the request of Manos Médicas.

The complaint of Manos Cleans was registered by its president Miguel Bernad on April 9 and in it he maintained that Begoña Gómez, "taking advantage of her personal status, wife of the President of the Government of Spain, has been recommending or endorsing by letter of recommendation with their signature to businessmen who participated in public tenders".

From the union they assure that one of the businessmen "benefited by these recommendations or endorsements" of Gómez is Carlos Barrabés, and that public tenders worth 10 million euros were awarded to him. "This businessman also set up the Master of Competitive Social Transformation of the accused," they maintain, and add that Begoña Gómez's chair also signed that businessman as an associate professor.

On the other hand, he points out that Víctor de Aldama, who is investigated by the National Court as the alleged perpetrator of the 'Koldo case', was Begoña Gómez's contact in Globalia and earned 6.67 million before "the ransom" was negotiated (. ..) of the company". Added to this is that Air Europa "agreed to pay 40,000 euros per year to the defendant's Africa Center" and that the agreement between Globalia and the Instituto de Empresa included the delivery of 15,000 euros per year in first class flights for Begoña Gómez and her team. .

After the admission of the complaint by the Madrid court, Manoslíneas issued a statement in which it assured that it based its writing on information from the media and that, in the event that the news is not true, "those who published it will be the ones who published it."
