Ukraine requests access to the site of the explosion in Poland

MADRID, 16 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) has requested permission to access the site in the Polish town of Przewodow, near the border, where missiles, probably Ukrainian, fell on Tuesday, killing two civilians.

"We are in favor of a joint study of the incident with the impact of the missile in Poland. We are prepared to deliver the evidence we have of the Russian trail," the NSDC secretary, Oleksei Danilov, has transferred on his profile on the social network Twitter.

Despite the fact that Ukraine and the Baltic countries at first ventured that the missile was of Russian origin, both Poland, the United States and NATO insisted that there was no evidence of such a claim and later pointed out that the missile was probably would have been launched by Ukraine to shoot down Russian missiles.

"We are waiting for information from our partners on the basis of which it has been concluded that it is a Ukrainian air defense missile," added Danilov, who has requested "immediate access" to the scene for representatives of the Ministry of Defense and border agents.

After the news of the explosion was released, Russia came forward with the accusations to deny its responsibility for the event, and stressed that the fragments of missiles seen over the Polish town do not correspond to the weapons used by Moscow.
