The Armed Forces of Ukraine have assured this Friday that they have killed 840 Russian soldiers in combat registered during the last day and have pointed out that nearly 75,000 Russian soldiers have died in combat since the beginning of the invasion, triggered on February 24 by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The General Staff of the Army of Ukraine has indicated in a message on its account on the social network Facebook that "about 74,840" Russian soldiers have been "liquidated" since the beginning of hostilities and has highlighted that during the last 24 hours 840 have died "occupants". "It's not a record, but almost," he stressed.

"The enemy has suffered the greatest losses in the direction of Liman and Avdiivka," he said, while indicating that to date 2,750 battle tanks, 1,772 artillery systems, 201 anti-aircraft systems and 391 self-propelled multiple rocket launchers have been destroyed and armored.

He also pointed out that the Ukrainian Army has destroyed 277 planes, 258 helicopters, 1,450 drones, 397 cruise missiles, 16 boats, 4,174 vehicles and fuel tanks, and 155 pieces of special equipment. On the other hand, he pointed out that "the enemy is trying to keep the territories temporarily captured" and that "it is concentrating its efforts on limiting the actions of the Defense Forces in certain areas", including "offensive actions" in the direction of Bajmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka.
