Ukraine denounces a Russian attack during a UN mission visit to the Zaporizhia region

MADRID, 8 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Ukrainian administration of the Zaporozja region has denounced a Russian attack during the humanitarian visit of the United Nations mission to a town in the area.

The head of the Ukrainian administration, Oleksandr Staruj, denounced in his Telegram account that the attack had occurred during a delivery of humanitarian aid from the UN in the city of Oríjiv, approximately 60 kilometers from the regional front.

The attack occurred, says Staruj, in the midst of the ceasefire declared by Russia unilaterally last Friday and which expired last midnight.

"The occupier continues to ignore the rules of war and attack communities. Russia is an orthodox Taliban, which ignores what is sacred and ignores all the rules of human coexistence," Staruj protested in his message.

Neither the United Nations nor Russia have yet ruled on this incident.
