Thousands of Colombians protest against the tax and political reform of the Government of Gustavo Petro

MADRID, 23 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

This Saturday several mobilizations have taken place in Bogotá and 13 other cities in Colombia against the proposals and reforms promoted by the Government of President Gustavo Petro in tax and political matters, they have also protested the increase in the price of the dollar and gasoline and the dialogue with criminal groups such as the Clan del Golfo.

The so-called 'National Table for Freedom', a group of social organizations and regional leaders, has promoted the protests that have been attended by thousands of citizens, according to the Colombian National Radio.

The platform has demanded the withdrawal of all the reforms of the Petro executive without their being discussed in Congress, since they consider that the Chamber has become the enemy of the population, according to what one of its spokespersons has declared to the newspaper 'El tiempo '.

The protesters have also demanded the resignation of the Minister of Mines and Energy, Irene Vélez, and that the Ministry of Equality not be created.
