The presidents of Russia and China, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, respectively, will hold a conversation before the end of the year, as confirmed by the Kremlin on Monday, which has not given details about a possible date or the content of the agenda.

"This contact is being prepared," said the spokesman for the Russian Presidency, Dimitri Peskov. "We will get in touch with our Chinese friends in an appropriate manner," he stressed, as reported by the Russian news agency Interfax.
