Several Russian radio stations warn of a possible bombing during a massive cyberattack

MADRID, 22 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Several Russian radio stations have broadcast alerts on Wednesday about possible bombings during a massive cyber attack suffered during the war in Ukraine.

The media in question, which have reproduced aerial sirens, have asked the population to remain alert and move to shelters as far as possible. "There is a threat of a missile attack," have indicated stations such as Relax FM, Avtoradio and Humor FM, among others.

Residents of the cities of Piatigorsj, Tyumen, Voronezh, Kazan, Magnitogorsk and Belgorod, as well as Ufa and Novouralsk, have been able to hear the alert, according to information from the Meduza news portal.

Previously, the Russian authorities have announced that there has been a massive cyber attack against the servers of the radio stations in question and have stated that, "as a result of an attack against these servers, alerts have been given to a possible missile attack." .

However, they have pointed out that it is "false" information that seeks to cause panic among the population. "What happened will be investigated in depth," they have assured.

Last June, several radio stations in the country suffered another cyberattack that caused the broadcast of Ukrainian patriotic songs.
