Russia accuses Ukraine of committing war crimes in bombing two hospitals in Lugansk and Jerson

Moscow accuses NATO of providing key information for the launch of these attacks, which demonstrates its "direct involvement"

MADRID, 29 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Russian Government has accused the Ukrainian Army this Sunday of committing war crimes by bombing two hospitals in Lugansk and Kherson and pointed out to NATO both for the "indifference" exhibited in the face of such attacks and for providing intelligence information for the execution of them, which makes the countries of the Atlantic Alliance, in Moscow's opinion, direct participants in the conflict.

Russia reported yesterday that at least 14 people were killed and 34 others injured in a Ukrainian airstrike on a hospital in Novoaidar, in the Moscow-controlled area of the eastern Luhansk region, using a HIMARS multiple launch rocket system supplied by USA.

For this reason, the Kremlin accused Washington of being directly involved in the war in Ukraine, just as it pointed out this Sunday to the Atlantic Alliance both for the "lack of reaction displayed" and for providing "satellite intelligence information" that served based on these attacks.

Next, the Russian government denounced a second attack, also on Saturday, in the city of Nova Kakhovja, in the Kherson region, on the right bank of the Dnieper River under Russian control, where 17 rockets hit, a third of which were in the territory of a local hospital, with no record of victims so far.

"The indifference of the United States and other NATO countries to this monstrous trampling of international humanitarian law by Kyiv once again confirms its direct involvement in the conflict and in the crimes that are being committed," said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyiv. Russia in a statement.

"All these acts of criminal lawlessness perpetrated by kyiv's armed groups, under the auspices of the West, will not go unpunished. They are carefully recorded. The organizers and perpetrators will suffer inevitable punishment," the ministry added in the statement.

The Ukrainian authorities have not ruled on these accusations.
