Iran Brands Accusations of Delivering Drones to Russia for Use in Ukraine as 'Psychological Warfare'

The head of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohamad Hosein Baqeri, has called the accusations against Tehran for allegedly sending drones to Russia for use in the framework of the invasion of Ukraine "psychological warfare", which he has once again rejected.

Baqeri has blamed the accusations on "global arrogance" and has said that "it is part of the psychological warfare of the enemy", while stressing that the fact that these accusations are made is proof of the "great influence" and "importance" of the drone industry in Iran, according to the Iranian news agency Tasnim.

Thus, he stated that Iran is one of the five main powers in this field and added that the authorities will continue to increase the capabilities of their drones. "In line with the decisions and guidelines of the Islamic Republic, we will continue to cooperate with other countries in the drone industry," he concluded.

Iranian Defense Minister Mohamad Reza Ashtiani stressed nearly two weeks ago that Ukraine has not presented evidence to support its allegations about Russia's use of Iranian-made drones as part of the invasion, unleashed on February 24. by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
