The region of the Great East of France has registered temperatures of up to -19.4ºC in the last hours, unprecedented lows since 2010, while in other regions temperatures below -12ºC are common.

The record low temperature has been registered in Buhl-Lorraine, in the Lorraine region, with -19.4ºC, while there have been -17.5ºC in Nitting, -13ºC in points of Alsace or -12.9ºC in Strasbourg, Nancy or Épinal. Highs are also lows, with -3°C forecast for the hottest time of day in Strasbourg.
