"Even the holy holiday Christmas is no reason for these inhuman beings to stop their attempts to attack our heroic city," Razvozhaev wrote, referring to the Ukrainian forces.

Sevastopol, due to its strategic location, has been the target of several attempted Ukrainian drone strikes, the latest on January 4. There has been a "yellow" alert level in Crimea since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February last year.
