The 'hood rapist' of Valladolid sees prison sentences reduced from 18 to 15 years with the new law

He committed three sexual assaults and as many attempts

The Court of Valladolid, in application of the Comprehensive Law on the Guarantee of Sexual Freedom, better known as the 'Law of only yes is yes', has reduced the set of sentences imposed in 2011 on a well-known man from 18 to 15 years in prison as the 'hood rapist' who sexually assaulted six young people in 2009 in the capital of Pisuerga.

The reform of the Penal Code has also served the aforementioned individual to see the total sentence of 18 sentences assumed in March 2011 reduced by three years during the appearance of conformity held then before the Fourth Criminal Section of the Provincial Court, according to the Information from the Press Office of the Superior Court of Justice of Castilla y León collected by Europa Press.

The defendant suffers from mild mental retardation bordering on moderate, which, together with a deficit in control of sexual impulses, determines a moderate decrease in the psychobiological bases of imputability. He is partially legally incapacitated, according to a sentence handed down on March 25, 2009 by the Court of First Instance number 13 of Valladolid.

The first of his attacks occurred on February 21, 2009 when he approached a 21-year-old girl at around 3:00 a.m. as she was about to enter the portal of her home. He pushed her behind her and covered her mouth, placing a knife on her neck while demanding that she not scream, forcing her to go to the garage of the building.

Once there, he forced her to undress, always threatening her with the knife in her hand, and once undressed, he groped her breasts and inserted one of his fingers into her vagina. Moments later, the rapist left the garage, but not before telling the victim not to turn around.

The second assault occurred around 2:00 a.m. on April 11 when the rapist, who was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and black panties that partially covered his face, noticed the presence of another 21-year-old girl who was passing by. Amor de Dios street and began to follow her until they reached the Puente de la Rondilla, where, when she turned around, the defendant covered her mouth with one of his hands while he placed a knife on her neck and told her "However you move or shout, I'll cut you."

Without ceasing to cover her mouth, the defendant managed to lead the young woman to a park near Valle De Arán street where, in a bushy area, he ordered her to completely undress and turn her back to him.

The convicted man placed a condom on his penis and pounced on the young woman, who knelt down, squatting, and while holding her arms, he penetrated her vaginally, ejaculating inside. The victim received a puncture in the neck from her with the knife.

The following day, at around 2:35 a.m., the rapist, who was wearing a sheepskin jacket, approached another of the victims, aged 22, when she was about to enter the portal of the building where she resides and, after threatening her with a knife, told her "...don't shout, don't look at my face or I'll cut you...", leading her to the garage of the building, where he forced her to undress and penetrated her anally, ejaculating inside.

After that, intimidating her with the knife, he forced the victim to kneel down and while he touched her chest he masturbated.

For the fourth sexual assault, attempted in this case, we had to wait until the 26th of the same month, when, around 1:30 a.m., he followed another victim to the doorway of his house and once there, in the elevator area, he returned to use the razor to intimidate the young woman by telling her "if you don't shut up I'll slit your neck", although she managed to escape the attack unscathed by revealing that she was on her period. She suffered lacerating injuries in the cervical area.

Already in May of that same year, around 3:30 a.m. on the 9th, he again chose a young woman who was returning home to, with her face hidden by a hood and panties, place a knife on her neck, trying to introduce her into the portal. .

As a result of the enormous physical resistance that he put up against him, the young woman managed to get away from him and enter the portal alone, managing to close the door, whereupon the defendant quickly left the place. The victim suffered various injuries.

Three days later, also at dawn, he followed another young woman from the Calderón Theater to Gutiérrez Cetina street where, upon entering the doorway, he grabbed her from behind an arm and while covering her mouth he told her to "shut up, shut up."

However, the defendant did not achieve his purpose since she bit him on the earphone finger of his left hand, taking advantage of it to flee from the defendant's presence.
