La Ponferradina added their second victory in LaLiga Smartbank after beating UD Ibiza (2-1) with a brace from Yuri, which allowed the Leonese to score full points in these first two league matches, while Las Palmas premiered their locker of wins overwhelming Málaga (0-4), which is already bottom.

In the match at El Toralín, the locals were superior in the first half, enjoying the clearest chances, although they were hampered by the lack of aim and the intense pressure from Rubén Baraja's men.
