Vox warns the socialist candidates that Pedro Sánchez has made them "allies" of Otegi

He denounces that the Budgets seek to "prolong the agony of a crumbling Government for a few months"

MADRID, 26 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The spokesman for Vox in Congress, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, warned all socialist positions on Wednesday that the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, has made them "allies" of Bildu and the nationalist leader Arnaldo Otegi.

In the Budget debate in Congress, in defense of the amendment to the totality presented by Vox, Espinosa de los Monteros has described the accounts presented by the Government as "sanchicentrist", accusing the president of putting "his electoral interests before those of general interests of Spain".

That led the chief executive, he has denounced, to agree to his investiture and stay in power "with whom no other would have dared to agree ever." And he has pointed out among these partners of the Government the authors "of the greatest blow to democracy", those responsible for "the exit" of Spanish from the classrooms of Catalonia, to agree "the exit of the Civil Guard of Navarra" and also to "the rupture" of the single pension fund.

But even more, Espinosa de los Monteros has criticized that it even led him to agree with "the political arm of ETA", in reference to Bildu. And he has recalled the words of Otegi agreeing to support the Government Budget in exchange for the release of ETA prisoners from jail.

"Prisoners for budgets, there can be no greater indignity," the Vox leader has reproached, regretting that this premise has been fulfilled and 351 ETA prisoners have already approached prisons in the Basque Country.

Among them, he recalled that there are names such as Henri Parot, convicted of 39 murders; that of 'Txapote', responsible for the kidnapping and murder of Miguel Ángel Blanco; or that of Julián Atxurra Egurola, who ordered the kidnapping of prison official José Antonio Ortega Lara, today a member of Vox.

"Socialist barons from all over Spain, socialist candidates, councilors, mayors, deputies, let no one fool you, Pedro Sánchez has made you, all of you, allies of Bildu," Espinosa de los Monteros warned.

"In Valencia and in Badajoz, in the Canary Islands and in Toledo, in Seville and in Gijón, the same in the European Parliament as in Congress - he continued -. All socialist positions are allies of Bildu and whoever does not like that tell Pedro Sánchez or go protest to Ferraz".

Espinosa de los Monteros believes that Spain "cannot get used to indignity" and yet this government "has exceeded all limits", keeping the same partners "to prolong the agony of a crumbling government for a few months". However, he has already ventured that none of this will serve to "re-elect" Sánchez, although the group of Spaniards will end up "paying dearly" for these Budgets.
