Vox wants Interior to reveal how the alleged jihadist detained in Catalonia entered Spain

MADRID, 9 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Vox wants the Ministry of the Interior to clarify how the alleged jihadist of Moroccan origin arrested on August 5 in Mataró (Barcelona) entered Spain and if the State Security Forces and Bodies followed his movements since he set foot on national territory.

These are some of the questions that make up the battery registered by Vox in Congress, also related to the arrest in Austria of another alleged terrorist with links to Spain who, like the one arrested in Mataró, has been part of groups related to Al Qaeda and received military training in Syria.

Those of Santiago Abascal point out that "the presence of radical profiles linked to some terrorist organization on illegal immigration routes" is increasingly frequent and, for this reason, they ask the Government to specify how the detainee in Mataró entered Spain.

As reported by Interior when the arrests were made public, the two alleged terrorists arrived in Austria through the so-called Balkan route, on a journey that took them through Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary.

Now, Vox demands to know when the detainee in Catalonia arrived in Spain, if he was illegally, if he had a legal record, if he was under the guardianship of a state institution, and if he planned to attack in Spain.
