Vox charges against Podemos for its "ignorance" about supermarket logistics

The spokesman for Vox in Congress, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, has charged this Tuesday against Podemos for its "ignorance" about the operation of supermarkets and the logistics chain that follows food and has blamed the Government for the rise in prices.

At a press conference in Congress after the meeting of the Board of Spokespersons, Espinosa de los Monteros has rejected Podemos's accusations against the large supermarket chains for the rise in food prices.

"This is what happens when there are communists in the Government without work experience and without knowledge of the market," he censured. "One worked as a cashier, the others didn't even do that."

In this sense, he explained that if the rise in prices were solely the fault of the supermarket owners, citizens could go shopping in traditional markets to avoid it. "But it turns out that the supermarket chains in Spain, especially the national ones, are the ones that have done the most to keep prices low thanks to their logistics capacity," he claimed.

Thus, the leader of Vox has blamed the rise in prices on the "wrong policies" of the Government and its energy policy. "Naturally this government has a lot of responsibility for price increases and not precisely the supermarket chains," he insisted.
