UBS raises profit by 10.8% until June

The Swiss bank UBS obtained an attributed net profit of 4,244 million dollars (4,153 million euros) in the first six months of 2022, which represents an improvement of 10.8% compared to the result recorded by the entity in the first half of the previous year, the bank reported.

UBS's operating turnover between January and June reached 18,299 million dollars (17,908 million euros), 4.1% above the income of the first half of 2021.

Specifically, UBS's net interest income in the first half totaled 3,436 million dollars (3,362 million euros), 6% more, while fee income decreased by 10%, to 10,127 million dollars (9,911 million of euros).

Between April and June, UBS's net attributable profit reached 2,108 million dollars (2,063 million euros), 5% above the result recorded by the entity in the same period of 2021, while turnover increased by 0.2%, up to 8,917 million dollars (8,726 million euros).
