The Academy's head of business development, Carlos Costa, was delighted to be able to inaugurate the center. Last Monday, the tennis programs elaborated with the methodology of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar and with coaches from Mallorca displaced to the Asian country began to be taught, with the head of the center being Pedro Pissarra, a Portuguese coach.

The Rafa Nadal Tennis Center complexes were born as a new line of sports centers, complementary to the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca and Kuwait. These are tennis complexes located in the surroundings of high-class vacation resorts in leading international destinations. That of Hong Kong joins those of Mexico and Greece.

Rafa Nadal was "very excited" about the project. "Since the opening of the academy in Mallorca 5 years ago, we have always found it very interesting to be able to expand our methodology to more countries. The facilities are spectacular and we will have great coaches at the head of the Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre. I am convinced that it will be a success and that little by little we can continue to increase our international expansion", commented the tennis player.

The objective of the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center in Hong Kong will be to offer high-quality tennis training that helps promote this sport in the country thanks to the different personalized programs according to the different player profiles.
