The Senate confirms the date of Tuesday, October 18 for the 'face to face' between Sánchez and Feijóo

The groups in the Senate have given the green light for the appearance of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, to finally debate, among others, with the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, on taxes, to take place next Tuesday, October 18, according to reports. confirmed to Europa Press parliamentary sources.

In this way, the Board of Spokespersons of the Upper House -the body that orders the debates and marks the times- has finally given the go-ahead to this date that the Executive was considering so that the 'face to face' with Feijoo.

It was Pedro Sánchez himself who registered the request to appear at his own request in the Senate to explain in the Upper House his tax proposal, with the new tax on large fortunes, and, in this way, confront Feijóo in full controversy for the tax cuts that several communities are facing, including some of the PSOE.

This date, October 18, was scheduled for Sánchez to go to the Upper House again, but in a control session. However, the Senate groups have finally decided that, instead of answering questions, the President of the Government should go to the Senate to debate with Feijóo and the rest of the groups.
