The RFEF announces aid for 25 million for Second Federation and Third Division clubs

MADRID, 8 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has published this Friday three calls for aid, aimed at clubs in Second Division B, Third Division and regional clubs, when the latter participate in the Copa del Rey, for a total amount of more than 25 million euros, according to a statement.

Specifically, the calls for aid are related to the Impulso 23 program; with the program of Audiovisual Rights of the Copa del Rey; and with the Clause IX program of the Coordination Agreement.

Thus, the call for aid for next season within the Impulso 23 Program is aimed at clubs in Second Division B -Second Federation and Third Federation-, and through it more than 19 million euros will be allocated. "It should be remembered that to these aids are added the amounts that the clubs are going to receive as aid for non-peninsular travel, the subject of another call also published this Friday," explained the RFEF, referring to the aid for extra-peninsular travel, endowed with more than 4.5 million.

This amount is divided into three areas: the first, aid for professionalization, has 5,261,000 euros for Second Division B and 10,101,000 euros for Third Division. For the second, travel aid, 864,000 euros will be allocated for Second Division B and 1,265,000 euros for Third Division. Finally, regarding the incentive to promote the base, the call foresees allocating more than one and a half million for the Second Division B.

The Third Division and regional clubs, in addition, can benefit from the call for aid related to the Audiovisual Rights Program of the Copa del Rey, through which a total of 1,051 will be distributed, according to the system established by the competent bodies of the RFEF. .200 euros. The aid is distributed in three concepts: prizes for participation in the first phase, travel aid and prizes for a qualifying round.

The third call for this block of aid is aimed at clubs in Second Division B -Second Federation, within the Clause IX Coordination Agreement program- that participate in the Copa del Rey. Almost five million euros will be allocated in the next campaign and among the concepts, in addition to repeating those already mentioned for Third and regional clubs, an incentive to promote the base for which almost two million will be allocated is included.

For their part, the peninsular clubs that must play in the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Ceuta or Melilla, as well as the teams from these territories that must play on the peninsula or between them, will be able to benefit from a new aid package worth 4.5 million euros in certain official state competitions.

The call for these aids, which began in the 2020-2021 season, has the objective of "trying to provide the best means and the greatest facilities to these entities that participate in the official competitions of the highest level of amateur football in Spain". "As in previous editions, the grants are subsidiary to those that could be granted to the beneficiary clubs, for these same trips, by the various public administrations," reported the RFEF.

Specifically, teams registered in the First Federation, Second and Third Division categories for men can benefit from them; Women's First Federation, Second Federation and First National; Junior Honor Division and National Junior League; the top four men's futsal divisions and the top two women's categories; the Futsal Youth Honor Division; and other non-regular competitions organized by the RFEF, such as the Futsal King and Queen Cups, the Women's Super Cup and the Men's and Women's Futsal Super Cups.
