The PSOE warns Feijóo that politicians are not elected to "lie, cheat and insult"

MADRID, 27 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The PSOE spokesman in Congress, Patxi López, warned the PP on Tuesday that citizens do not choose politicians to "lie, cheat and insult" as, in his opinion, the 'popular' do despite the alleged "moderation and elegance" attributed to its leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo.

In a press conference in the Lower House, López has given several examples of these behaviors that he blames on the first opposition party, starting with its president.

Thus, he has said that Feijóo "deceives" when he maintains that the Government "is lining up" and "cheats" when he affirms that "no country pursues wealth", ignoring all the European states in which there is a wealth tax.

He has also charged his 'popular' counterpart, Cuca Gamarra, for calling the Government "immoral" and against another PP deputy, whose name he has not given, for comparing President Pedro Sánchez to Donald Trump in a tweet and saying that both are "excessive of vanity" and lack "scruples".

In addition, López has added that the general coordinator of the PP, Elías Bendodo, "lies" when he accuses the Government of "giving 130 million to Bill Gates", and that, in addition, he does so "knowingly" because the American businessman's foundation fights with "AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria" and "all the governments of the world" collaborate with it.
