The PP confirms that Feijóo will not go to Congress in the motion of censure for not participating in the Vox "circus"

The spokesman for the PP campaign committee, Borja Sémper, confirmed this Monday that the leader of his formation, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, will not attend the debate on the motion of censure that will take place in Congress so as not to participate in the "circus". and the "performance" of Vox which, in his opinion, is a "ball of oxygen" for the chief executive, Pedro Sánchez.

This has been pronounced at a press conference after the PP management committee shortly after Vox has registered its motion that will be headed by the independent economist Ramón Tamames. The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has expressed his wish that it be debated before April so that, if successful, the new government could bring forward the general elections with enough time to make them coincide with the regional and municipal ones.

Sémper has accused Vox of going to the "media rescue" of Pedro Sánchez at the moment of "greatest weakness" of the Government of PSOE and Unidas Podemos. "This is going to mean a breath of fresh air and media rescue to divert attention," he stressed, adding that the Prime Minister is "delighted" with this initiative by those of Abascal.

Thus, he has said that in this debate "Vox's tactical interests" will be elucidated on the one hand, and those of Sánchez on the other hand, which are not those of all citizens. When expressly asked if Feijóo will attend that debate, Sémper has responded emphatically: "Of course he will not attend."
