The Polish Marciniak will arbitrate the Barça-Inter and the Dutch Makkelie, the Atlético-Bruges

MADRID, 10 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Polish Szymon Marciniak will be in charge of refereeing this Wednesday the match of the fourth day of the Champions League group stage between FC Barcelona and Inter Milan at the Spotify Camp Nou (9:00 p.m.), while the Dutch Danny Makkelie will do the same on the same day in the match between Atlético de Madrid and Brujas at the Cívitas Metropolitano (6:45 p.m.).

Marciniak, 41, will direct a match for the azulgranas for the fifth time, who have only won once under his arbitration, the second time they met, in the second leg of the round of 16 of the 'Champions' 2018- 19 against Olympique de Lyon (5-1).

Before, the culé team drew with Inter that same season in the group stage (1-1). He was also present in the defeat of the men then led by Luis Enrique in the first leg of the 2016-17 round of 16 against Paris Saint-Germain (4-0), before they managed to turn the tie around (6-1 ), and in the first leg of the quarterfinals that same year against Juventus (3-0).

With Makkelie, 39, the rojiblancos have only won one win in four games, the one signed in extra time against Liverpool (2-3) in the second leg of the 2019-20 Champions League round of 16; already in the three remaining duels, all in the group stage tied against Chelsea (1-1) in 2017-18 and against Juventus (2-2) in 2019-20 and fell to Liverpool (2-0) in 2021-22.
