The PNV opens to retouching the law of 'only yes is yes': "Something will have to be done"

The PNV spokesman in Congress, Aitor Esteban, considers it "clear" that, after the reduction of sentences for convicted sexual offenders, "something will have to be done" with the Sexual Freedom Law, known as the 'Yes is yes' law , but in any case, he prefers to wait for the Supreme Court to establish a position.

In statements in Congress, Aitor Esteban has indicated that the objective of this law "was the opposite of what is happening" and "it seems evident" that at the time a transitory provision should have been introduced to avoid these reductions in sentences.

Given the different criteria of the courts when applying the new law, Aitor Esteban expects the Supreme Court to rule in a few weeks and, based on that, he does not rule out that some "tweak" must be introduced in the rule.
