The employers' association has proposed to the body chaired by Franco to host the event in recognition of its "decisive role" for professionalization

MADRID, 20 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Professional Women's Soccer League (LPFF) has asked the Higher Sports Council (CSD) to host the draw for the first professional season in 2022-23 of the Women's First Division of soccer, which will begin on September 10, as announced by this Wednesday the LPFF.

The LPFF has asked the CSD to host the draw for the matches of the First Women's Football Division to thank the Government of Spain for its "involvement" and "effort" to make the First Division professional.

The LPFF has transferred the invitation to the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) so that it can attend and collaborate in such a "historic event".

After the coordination agreement with the RFEF for the preparation of the calendar of dates, the LPFF, as organizer of the professional competition, is in charge of the organization and development of the pairing draw.

When preparing the draw for pairings, multiple conditions must be considered that may have an impact on security, infrastructure, economic optimization of the competition or audiovisual exploitation of the competition, all matters that are the responsibility of the Professional Leagues.

The LPFF continues to advance in the configuration of the organization and its president, Beatriz Álvarez, already has a multidisciplinary internal structure to address the "multiple challenges" involved in setting up the competition.
