The Government subjects the dialogue with the PP to the renewal of the CGPJ

He is unaware of the PP's energy saving plan and recalls that Feijóo has already proposed measures that now his deputies have voted against

MADRID, 26 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Minister of Education and spokesperson for the PSOE, Pilar Alegría, has accused the PP of carrying out a "frontier, denier and obstructionist" opposition, and from now on conditions all dialogue with those of Alberto Núñez Feijóo to comply with the signed agreement by the previous 'popular' team and proceed to renew the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ).

In statements to Europa Press Television, Pilar Alegría indicated that the PP's vote against the decree on energy saving measures confirms this "denier and obstructionist opposition": "They do not take the people of this country seriously", she pointed out , recalling that this norm has been validated by a large majority and that it includes "important measures" for the middle class, workers and young people.

"The PP and the extreme right voted against, but they did not vote against this government, but against the citizenry -- he adds --. It is something absolutely unheard of. In their seats there are more buttons than the 'no' button that they repeatedly use. Do of flag the 'No' is to do anti-politics and that's not how this country is built".

As he explained, this legislature has not been "free of difficulties", but even so, the Government has been able to approve more than 160 legislative proposals in Congress by practicing dialogue with social agents and political parties.

In his opinion, "the only party that has repeatedly turned its back on dialogue is the PP": "All its last leaders have done so, and also the last to arrive, Mr. Feijóo", he asserted.

Pilar Alegría maintains that, "from the first moment, the PP has installed itself in the demolition opposition" and "has been saying authentic barbarities about the Prime Minister since day one." In her opinion, since the arrival of Núñez Feijóo at the headquarters in Genoa, the 'popular' have continued to turn their backs on dialogue and have maintained that "front opposition".

In this context, he recalled the agreement that Pablo Casado's management signed with the Government to renew the Judiciary, a text from which Feijóo's team dissociates itself: A political party that is supposed to have responsibility, refuses to comply with the Constitution and has been practicing constitutional disobedience for more than 1,350 days," he denounces.

Thus, he wanted to make it clear that the dialogue with the PP is conditional on proceeding once and for all to renew the CGPJ. "If they want to dialogue, that they comply with what was signed, that they comply with the Constitution and, from there, all the dialogue that is necessary," he stated. "If they comply with what was agreed upon and renew with the CGPJ, we will be able to have all the dialogue"·.

And he suggests that he does not expect anything from the PP's proposals for energy saving because of Feijóo "it is only known that he proposed reducing air conditioning and heating, and even when he was president of the Xunta he proposed energy saving regulations almost similar to those approved by the government. "The same measures he has voted against."
