Yesterday's Council of Ministers approved a Royal Decree with which it regulates the direct granting of 350,000 euros in subsidies destined to defray expenses, carried out in 2022, for the operation of foundations and associations linked to political parties represented in the General Courts. The most benefited have been those of the PSOE, with 89,273 euros against Teruel Exist, which will only receive 294 euros.

According to the Royal Decree, in order to benefit from the aid, these organizations must have among their statutory purposes of general interest the "development of cultural activities, including the study and development of political and social thought and must carry out training activities, research programs , courses, seminars, conferences, exhibitions, congresses or editions of publications in any medium, among others".

The purpose of the 350,000 euros of aid is to cover the operating expenses of the activities of these foundations and associations in 2022. The distribution of these subsidies will be carried out by way of direct award, since it is done according to the representation obtained by political parties in the Cortes Generales in the General Elections of November 10, 2019.

And as published today by the Official State Gazette (BOE) and collected by Europa Press, the distribution will be as follows. The PSOE, with the largest representation, receives the largest amount, 89,283 euros; it is followed by the Popular Party, with 73,190 euros; Vox, which will obtain 54,434 euros; United We Can, which achieves 35,455 euros and Citizens, with 24,564.

The rest of the parties will receive less than 20,000 euros. The least will be the foundations linked to Teruel Exists, with 294 euros. Ahead are the ERC associations and foundations, which will achieve 13,022 euros; those of the PSC, with 11,828 euros; In Comú Podem, which obtains 8,174 euros; Junts Per Cataluña, with 7,982 euros; the PNV, which will receive 5,641 euros or More Country-Equo, which achieves 4,917.

Foundations and associations linked to EH Bildu will also receive grants, 4,132 euros; the CUP, 3,676 euros; In Common-United We Can, 2,801; more commitments, 2,624 euros; Forum, 1,934 euros; Canarian-New Canary Islands Coalition; €1,850; the BNG, 1,792 euros; Navarra Sum, 1,474 and the Canary Islands Regionalist Party (PRC), 1,024 euros.
