The consolidated revenue budget grows by 3.4%, to 389,927 million euros

MADRID, 6 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The consolidated revenue budget will reach 389,927 million euros, which represents an increase of 3.4% compared to this year's budget, according to the 2023 General State Budget Bill (PGE).

Collection from direct taxes (fundamentally personal income tax and companies) and social security contributions will grow by 10.2%, to 269,000 million euros. Of this total, 142,288 million euros, 6.4% more, will correspond to taxes; while 184,522 million euros will be collected from social contributions, 9.7% more than this year.

For their part, indirect taxes, including VAT and special taxes, will reduce their income by 0.1%, to 57,809 million euros; while rates and other tax revenues will grow by 6.6%, to 14,471 million.

Likewise, current transfers will represent income of 19,014 million euros, which represents a decrease of 0.6% compared to this year, while the Government expects to collect 6,338 million euros from property income, 4.4% less.

In this way, current operations will add 366,623 million euros, 7.4% more, while capital operations will fall by 16.3%, to 16,538 million euros.

Finally, non-financial income, with 383,171 million euros, will grow by 6.1%, while financial assets, with 6,756 million, will register a sharp drop of 57.7% compared to what was budgeted this year.
