MADRID, 10 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -
The Council of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) has appointed Juan Rodríguez de la Rúa deputy director general of the legal service and deputy secretary of the CNMV Council.
As stated in the Official State Gazette (BOE) this Monday, the CNMV approved a resolution on October 3 ordering the dismissal of José Luis Gómara Hernández and his replacement by Rodríguez de la Rúa.
Rodríguez de la Rúa is a State lawyer and until now has practiced before the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), in charge of legal assistance to the State and Public Institutions in matters of EU Law, as well as before the Court of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).
Likewise, he has been coordinator of the Legal Assistance Agreement between the State Attorney General's Office and the State Public Limited Company of Agrarian Surety (Saeca).
Previously, he has held various positions within the Ministry of Justice as State Attorney in Madrid and in the Criminal Department of the Subdirectorate General for Litigation Services. He has also held the position of State Attorney in Valencia.
