Telefónica Tech has closed this Thursday the acquisition of the entirety of the German company BE-terna, an expert European provider in Microsoft, in an operation that values the firm at 350 million euros, including variables.
BE-terna, until now owned by Deutsche Private Equity (DPE) and other minority shareholders, has a team of more than 1,000 employees and a presence in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Adriatic region and the Nordic countries, according to the company.
This is the seventh acquisition that Telefónica Tech has made in its history after Govertis, iHackLabs, Altostratus, Geprom, CANCOM UK
In addition, the operator's technological subsidiary has integrated Acens and already has more than 5,400 highly qualified employees. The firm invoiced 299 million euros in the first quarter of 2022, 80.6% more than in the previous year. For its part, Be-Terna entered 121 million euros in 2021.
