Russia expels five Croatian diplomats over Zagreb's 'hostile' actions

MADRID, 27 May. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Russian government announced this Friday the expulsion of five diplomats from the Croatian Embassy in Moscow for "hostile" actions in Zagreb in the context of the invasion of Ukraine.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has indicated in a statement on its website that the decision has been transferred to the Croatian ambassador in Moscow, Tomislav Tsar, who has been summoned during the day to transfer Russia's protest for these actions.

Thus, the Russian Executive has denounced the "unfounded attempts by the Croatian authorities to accuse Russia of war crimes in Ukraine" and the "delivery of military assistance by Croatia to the neo-Nazi regime in kyiv".
