The Russian government has assured this Thursday that it has destroyed a "training center" for "foreign mercenaries" in the Ukrainian region of Yitomir, within the framework of the war triggered on February 24 by the invasion order given by the Russian president, Vladimir Putin.

"As a result of a bombardment with high-precision air-launched missiles against the Novograd-Volinsky settlement area in the Zhytomyr region, a training center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces where foreign mercenaries were trained and received coordination," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.

Likewise, it has highlighted that two command posts have also been destroyed near the town of Razolovka, an ammunition warehouse in the surroundings of Paraskovievka and 23 areas of "concentration of military personnel and equipment" in other areas of the country, according to what has been collected the Russian news agency Interfax.

Konashenkov has indicated that, as a result of these operations during the last 24 hours, "more than 200 Ukrainian soldiers" have died, while five battle tanks, thirteen drones and missile and artillery ammunition have been destroyed near the town of Verjnekamenskoye. .
