Russia claims it has killed more than 400 "Ukrainian nationalists" in the last 24 hours

The Russian Army has killed more than 400 "Ukrainian nationalists" and destroyed tons of weapons during the bombing of Ukraine in the last 24 hours, according to the Russian Defense Ministry spokesman, Igor Konashenkov.

Much of the damage has been caused by a bombardment by Russian aircraft against an artillery training center of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Sumy region, in the northeast of the country.

"Air-launched and high-precision missiles hit the artillery training center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlement of Stetskovka, in the Sumy region," according to statements collected by Interfax.

In this center, according to the spokesman, foreign instructors supervised training for Ukrainian military personnel in the operation and fire control of 155mm M777 howitzers.

"The aviation has killed 400 nationalists, and destroyed 20 tanks and armored vehicles, four BM-21 combat vehicles of the Grad multiple rocket launcher system, nine artillery pieces and 29 other vehicles," Konashenkov told a news conference.

In total, he continued, since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, the Russian Army has disabled 187 aircraft, 129 helicopters, 1,104 drones, 328 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,406 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 466 multiple rocket launchers, 1,769 pieces of field artillery and mortars, as well as 3,405 units of special military vehicles.
