VALLADOLID, 19 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) -
The management of Renault has agreed to launch the "definitive mobility" so that workers from the Villamuriel de Cerrato factory, in Palencia, can stay permanently in some of the Valladolid factories.
As reported by the UGT union, this is one of the points analyzed at the second meeting of the consultation period held this Tuesday with which the process of "substantial modification" of the working conditions for the implementation of from the afternoon shift at the Palencia plant on returning from the summer holidays.
The union assures that the management of the company has transferred that it agrees to carry out the UGT's request to launch the definitive mobility for which it will contact these workers "in the next few days".
And regarding the requests for "more favorable shifts" for conciliation reasons, the company's management has promised to study the proposals, among which the UGT council stands out to make the requests to belong to shift A or B "what soon as possible".
They have also analyzed the transport lines, which will reinforce the Palencia and Valladolid-Palencia lines.
"We hope that this is the first step for the recovery of activity in our factories and soon we will have stable production thanks to the first vehicle resulting from the agreement signed by UGT in the Collective Agreement, the Renault Austral," the union concludes in a statement.
