Real Madrid will debut in the 2022-23 Champions League as a visitor against Celtic on September 6 (9:00 p.m.) and FC Barcelona will host Viktoria Plzen at the Camp Nou on the first day of the competition on the 7th, the same day in which Atlético de Madrid will begin their journey in the Champions League against Porto at home.

This has been established by UEFA this Saturday in the configuration of a calendar that will begin on September 6-7 with the first day and will end with the sixth on November 1-2, earlier than usual due to the World Cup of Qatar, which will begin on November 20. For its part, Sevilla will also start at home against Manchester City.

The Sevillans, along with Real Madrid, will be the first Spanish teams to play in this group stage. Sevilla, framed in Group G, will have as more complicated commitments the visits to Borussia Dortmund and City on October 11 and November 2, respectively, both matches at 9:00 p.m.
