Raquel Sánchez reminds Ayuso, after complaining about the prices, that she has the competition in housing

The Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez, reminded the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, on Monday that, as a regional leader, she is competent in matters of housing and, therefore, the possibility of taking measures in this regard, after complaining about the high prices of housing in the Madrid region.

At the Europa Press and Deloitte Real Estate Conference, Sánchez responded to the statements made last week by the president of the Community of Madrid in the magazine 'YoDona', in which she said that she was "fed up with paying the rent" and that he wanted to buy a flat, but he couldn't because the prices in Madrid had skyrocketed.

"I also can't help but be surprised by Ayuso's reactions, who said that he was tired of paying the rent (...). This does not seem to be a criticism of the PP's years of management, it seems that he attributes it to mere chance ", the minister has exposed in these days.

Sánchez has also criticized that Ayuso complains about housing problems when she herself has opposed the application of the measures that the Government is preparing to control rental prices and has accused the PP of "promoting the wild liberalization of the land" .

Faced with Ayuso's position, the minister has defended the "enormous responsibility" of political leaders to "satisfy the needs" of society in terms of housing.
