Pol Espargaró: "I hope Misano can give us a boost"

The Spanish rider Pol Espargaró (Repsol Honda) hopes that the San Marino Grand Prix can give them "a boost" after a "tough" weekend in Austria, where he finished sixteenth, for which he was "totally focused" and " engaged" with his team in search of solutions.

"I hope that Misano can give us a boost after a tough weekend in Austria. I am totally focused and committed to continue giving everything with the Repsol Honda team and we are working together to find solutions," he said in statements provided by his team.

The one from Granollers, who will not accompany Marc Márquez next season at Honda after the official announcement by Joan Mir, recognized the importance of the tests to improve for the World Championship. "They will be very useful and important, we have to work well throughout the weekend because then we are heading into a very intense period of competition. We stay focused, motivated and keep pushing," he added.

For his part, his teammate Stefan Bradl highlighted his evolution in recent races. "The results have not shown our potential recently and we have to keep working. My speed is improving with each race and there are only a few small details left to work out," he said.

"We have the weekend to be an official driver and then we will go back to test driver mode during the test, we will see what the complete plan is," he concluded.
