Podemos says not to get into political fiction with the pardon for Griñán but remember: they came to end corruption

We can prefer to wait for the Supreme Court to announce the complete sentence of the 'ERE case' to position itself in public for or against the eventual pardon of former Andalusian president José Antonio Griñán, sentenced to six years in prison for prevarication and embezzlement. Of course, it shows that they were born as a party to end corruption.

This was stated this Wednesday by Isabel Serra, spokesperson for the purple formation, at a press conference in which she avoided commenting on whether her party is in favor of granting Griñán a pardon, given that the Government has not yet been formally requested.

"As this pardon has not been requested and we do not do political fiction, we still do not value it," said Serra, who prefers to wait for the final sentence, because for now the Supreme Court has only revealed the ruling, which confirms the prison sentence for Griñán.

However, Podemos "was born to deal with the cutbacks, austerity and corruption policies of bipartisanship, and we think that this has to be left behind," he explained.
