MADRID, 1 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Podemos has concluded its political training school for young people, called 'Comanchería' with around one hundred participants and with the presence of various training positions, such as the Minister of Equality, Irene Montero.

The meeting, aimed at people between 18 and 31 years old and organized together with the Republic and Democracy Institute (the party's think tank), has been held in the town of Camarena de la Sierra (Teruel). As explained by the training, these conferences will be have framed the Podemos strategy of reinforcing and expanding the organization, as well as its desire to "reconnect young people with politics".

For five days, the meeting focused on three fundamental axes: "education, organization and communication of young people". To this end, practical activities and workshops have been carried out, such as debate exercises, speech workshops, audiovisual tools, feminism or international politics.

In addition, positions from Podemos were present at the talks, such as the deputy Rafael Mayoral, the secretary of Institutional Action of the party, Maria Teresa Pérez; the co-spokesperson Isa Serra or the deputy in the Madrid Assembly Tito Morano to address issues such as historical memory, "anti-politics" or the "cultural war", among others.

The Minister for Equality, Irene Montero, also came to the camp to talk with the participants about "militancy and involvement in politics."

From the purple organization they have been "very satisfied" with the result of the meeting, since they consider that the new generations "must take center stage and that promoting debate, reflection and the political participation of young people is essential".

In addition, they have assured that during the coexistence they have had the opportunity to take note of the concerns and proposals of the participants and to exchange opinions and ideas on the current political panorama.
