OCU considers that accumulated inflation will boost purchases taking advantage of the sales

The Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) has recalled that 29% of families, the most vulnerable, have stopped buying clothes or have delayed their purchase as a result of accumulated inflation in recent months, for which it estimates that will boost purchases during the summer sales, as reported in a statement.

Specifically, the organization considers that the sales period is a good time to try to advance some purchases of clothing and footwear for children of each to the next school year, although it specifies that this item is one of the ones that has raised its prices the least. in the last twelve months, barely 1.7% compared to the general 8.7%.

In any case, OCU reminds that prices are reduced in sales, but not rights, since the guarantees of a discounted product are the same as those of a non-reduced one.
