Cortes has celebrated victory in the states of Aguascalientes, Durango and Tamaulipas. "Let's correct the course of Mexico. It was proven that the 'Va por México' coalition does work," the opposition leader stressed, as reported by the newspaper 'El Universal'.

"It is a great defeat for Morena and for López Obrador. It is clear that in a sustained manner we are recovering many of the votes that we lost in 2018, we are on the right path to leave behind populism, destruction, demagoguery and the vision of the century past," he added.

On the other hand, Delgado has assured that the polls give him the advantage in the states of Hidalgo, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Durango and Tamaulipas, and has urged voters to maintain unity.

"Nothing should divide us, no particular interest or any interest, however legitimate, will be above the great project of transformation. Our president needs us united, he needs us together and we cannot slow down towards 2024," he said. asserted.

The president of the INE, Lorenzo Córdova, has notified that the results of the quick count of the State Electoral Institute of Aguascalientes (IEE) give victory to the candidate of the Mexican electoral coalition formed by PAN, the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) and the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD), Teresa Jiménez.

Likewise, the electoral advisor, Ciro Murayama, has released the quick count of the election for governor in Tamaulipas, placing Morena's candidate, Américo Villareal, in first place.

Similarly, Morena's candidate in Oaxaca, Salomón Jara, has declared himself the winner. "We will follow the example of the President of the Republic of fighting poverty and corruption head on. In addition, we will strengthen the relationship with the federal government for the well-being of our peoples," he stressed at a press conference.

Murayama has ruled on his official Twitter account that "no one, absolutely no one can say with certainty at 6:30 p.m. (local time) that he has already won a governorship. The votes are barely being counted. Political actors should have height, responsibility."
