MioGroup reduces its profit by 10% until June, but achieves a record sales figure

MADRID, 3 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

MioGroup, a strategic consulting firm for marketing and digital transformation services, registered an attributable profit of 604,892 euros during the first half of this year, 10% less, although it reached a record turnover of 35 million euros, 14% more than in the first half of the previous year.

The company has attributed this growth, both organic and inorganic, to the business contributed by the latest incorporated companies and to the group's commitment to geographical diversification and high value-added services, talent and technology.

Approximately 60% of sales growth is organic, which, combined with the acquisition of two companies in this period, has increased the gross margin by 44% compared to the same half of the previous year.

However, as explained by the firm, the growth in sales and gross margin has not been transferred to the same extent to the operating result.

Specifically, the recurring gross operating result (Ebitda), excluding extraordinary expenses, stands at 1.3 million euros, 7% less, weighed down by the increase in operating costs.

These results do not yet include those of Firma, the second of the two integrated companies, acquired at the end of June.

"Our evolution in this first half of 2022 must be seen from the perspective of a company in transformation after our IPO last summer. We have worked to strengthen the organizational structure of the group to prepare it to accommodate inorganic growth after the incorporation of new companies. , as well as to internationalize our offer", highlighted the president of MioGroup, Yago Arbeloa.
