Minsait launches its portfolio of banking and insurance products in the metaverse

Minsait, an Indra group company, has launched its offer for the financial sector in the metaverse through a virtual offer area enabled together with its own space where you can access through an avatar to visit its rooms and proposals.

The firm has broken into this sector with the aim of being a pioneer in an environment in which there are not yet many business initiatives and where it hopes to strengthen its extensive portfolio of financial services, whose clients include the ten main banks in Spain, according to pointed out this Thursday in a statement.

The firm is confident in the potential of banking in the metaverse, since, despite the fact that current applications are in the "discovery phase", according to the senior manager of Financial Services at Minsait, Andrés Duque, these applications are expected to be the seed of a "paradigm shift".

"There is a great opportunity to be a pioneer and generate specific ecosystems, since everything related to this new environment of experience will be relevant in the future and may mark a new path of action based on convergence," says the Minsait expert.

The firm, in fact, has presented its first proposals for the sector in this environment, such as the creation of private metaverses as an element of innovation in the sale and provision of banking or employee services.

On the other hand, active participation in existing metaverses (such as The Sandbox or Decentraland) opens up a marketing channel for the entity that strengthens the brand, as well as allows it to address new customer segments and banking products, according to the technology company.

Minsait also offers other options such as the presentation of new products such as gamification, the creation of virtual offices to interact with the client or the organization of marketing events or corporate worlds that encourage the internal relationship of employees and entities.
