Medvedev assaults number one and Djokovic drops to third place

Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev has reached number one in the ATP ranking on Monday, unseating Serbian Novak Djokovic, who falls to third place, while Spaniard Rafa Nadal remains in fourth place on the list.

The 2,000 points that the Balkan has given up, who has not managed to defend his Roland Garros title -which ended a week later in 2021-, have made him give up two positions (6,770 points), and for the third week since the beginning of 2020 he has not will be at the top of the ranking.
