Marc Márquez, "no pain" in his first review: "Positive sensations"

MADRID, 18 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Spanish MotoGP rider Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda) spent his first medical examination this Saturday in Madrid after undergoing surgery two weeks ago at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester (Minnesota), with "positive feelings" and above all happy for not having pain.

The evaluation took place at the Ruber Internacional Hospital in Madrid, with a medical team made up of doctors Joaquín Sánchez Sotelo, Samuel Antuña and Ángel Cotorro. "The assessment of the initial evolution after surgery on Márquez's right humerus has been positive," says Repsol Honda in a statement.

"Today I had a medical check-up in Madrid and the doctors are happy. My arm is immobilized and it will be that way for the next few weeks. My feelings so far are positive because I have no pain, this is very important," said Márquez himself.

"It allows me to rest and follow the rules of the doctors: a healthy diet, drink a lot and go for a walk with our dogs, because it is important that the body is not inactive. The most important thing that the doctors tell me is that now I have to be Calm down and be patient," he added.

The medical team has recommended continuing with controlled exercises for the next four weeks and the eight-time world champion is scheduled to undergo his next medical check-up after those four weeks.
